Located just a 14 minute walk from our University B&B, Just For Laughs is the comedy capital of Canada, attracting

Every February, Montreal lightens up the dragging winter blues with Montréal en Lumiére, one of the largest winter festivals

Trendy wine bar Pullman
is ideal for a 5-7, a late-night tapas mission, or any night out on the town. It
has a very chic ambiance and layout, with many individually designed chambers. Pullman

Dominion Square Tavern
Feel like you’ve stepped back in time as you step through the doors of the Dominion Square Tavern, where, once you’ve stopped gaping
at the vintage scene around you, you will definitely want to take off your coat
and stay a while. Aside from looking just plain spiffy—this local gem specializes
in serving delicious drinks prepared the old fashioned way, with none of that watered
down business. They also have a flare for elevating ordinary dishes to sumptuous
heights, thanks to the skill of their staff.

Upstairs
One of the finest jazz venues in town,
Upstairs generally attracts a mature crowd, and is the perfect choice for
those of you who are on your second honeymoon (or would like to feel as though you
are!). Be enthralled by jaw-droppingly amazing jazz set to the backdrop of truly
inspired décor, featuring charming wood panels, exposed brick walls, and a snazzy
bar. If that isn’t romantic enough, there are great martinis here, too! Reservations
are recommended, as seating gets pretty tight.

Crescent Street
You won’t have properly experienced Montreal nightlife until you have taken a late-night
gander up Crescent Street, which though is busy all year round, offers especially
hopping terraces in the summer. Here are a couple of Crescent Street highlights
to get you started:
- Sir Winston Churchill Pub: Gigantic and famous Crescent street staple. A good place
to stop in for a sandwich and beer.
- Stogies: Have an authentic Montreal experience in one of the few last places in
the city where patrons can smoke (cigars only!). Good selection of martinis and
authentic Cuban cigars.
